Medium Neutral Vintage Huipil Bag with Alamo Leather

For the girls who love neutrals in a special vintage huipil, grab this bag! Made from a geometric huipil and our new Alamo leather, she is a stunner!

Measures: 13” H x 16” L

The leather has a weathered look in a fawn color. (See close-up for reference).

The interior is beautiful Corte (Traditional skirt worn by Mayan women.) with leather trimmed pockets and a zipper pocket.

Shoulder strap and backpack straps are included to make the bag convertible three ways.

The neckline of the huipil creates gorgeous pockets front and back. 

A huipil is woven on a backstrap loom, which consists of 5-6 pieces of wood and a strap that goes around the weaver's waist, making her part of the loom.   

Fully handmade by an artisan family in a small workshop in Chichicastenango, Guatemala which ensures good working conditions and a sustainable income.
