This genuine leather handbag features Xela leather, one of the finest in Guatemala. The huipil is newly woven, creating a sustainable income for Maya families. Made on a backstrap loom, the huipil bag combines contemporary design with traditional weaving that has been done for centuries.
The interior of the bag is lined with beautiful Corte (traditional skirt of the Maya women) lining with two side pockets and a zipper pocket.
