Medium Newly Woven Crosses Huipil CDB with Xela Leather
This gorgeous turquoise and jade makes the perfect Bag! Woven on a backstrap loom, this new sustainable huipil is a classic pattern with rich colors woven by artisans in Guatemala.
A huipil can take several months to complete depending on the design. This huipil was newly woven using traditional weaving practices.
The leather used in this bag is soft and luxurious and made in Quetzaltenango, nicknamed by locals as Xela. Prounounced "She-lah", Xela leather is considered one of the finest in Guatemala.

The removable shoulder and backpack straps are included for convertible wear three different ways....crossbody, shoulder bag or backpack.
The Interior is lined with Corte with a zipper pocket and two side pockets.
There are hidden zipper pockets on the front and back of the bag for all of your personal items.
Fully handmade by an artisan family in a small workshop in Chichicastenango, Guatemala which ensures good working conditions and a fair wage.
