Four Directions MINI Convertible Day Bag with Xela leather
The Four Directions have significant meaning in many cultures and faiths. In the ancient Mayan world, great ceremonies were held for what can also be know as the Four Cardinal Points. Interestingly, East and West are considered more significant than North and South.
This newly woven huipil was made by weavers in rural Guatemala and sold to a family of bag makers in Chichicastenango. The leather is from Xela and some of the most luxurious in Guatemala.
The interior is lined in gorgeous Corte (the same material used to make the traditional Skirt made by Mayan women). Zipper pocket and two side pockets are trimmed in Xela leather.
Hidden zipper pockets are in front and back.
